Some pics from a great recent lecture 'Engineered access solutions and associated risk' with David Milward from @RDGEngineering which highlighted the flexibility of scaffolding and the ingenuity of the (rdg) design teams. Watch the recording https://t.co/iYqVi70NnQ
VIDEO: Schoolgirls climb the scaffolding at @Wentworth_House in Rotherham to hear from Dame Julie Kenny and @AmyStamford1 about getting into male-dominated industries

Great to hear RDG acknowledged as the designers of the temporary building at HS2 St. James Gardens and for contributing to innovation in construction. #scaffolding#temporaryworks https://t.co/R00stGdbgE
We had great feedback from the talk David Milward, our temporary works director, gave at the @ICE_engineers. David discussed the operational & site-based risks associated with TW design & changing industry mindset on the involvement of TW designers.

With the initial results going against current knowledge & recommended practice, a full test plan is being developed to assess the performance characteristics of different combinations. Follow the discussion on our LinkedIn page to stay updated (3 of 3)
We have been involved in discussions around what makes a class B fitting have a higher working load slip capacity than a class A fitting. In the absence of any definitive conclusion, we have been conducting a series of tests. (1 of 3)
An Initial test of 1 class B fitting with 3 class A supplementary check fittings resulted in a combined working check force of 25.5 kN. (Statistically Determines) (2 of 3)
An amazing project that integrates public access, revealing the process involved in a major regeneration scheme. RDG provided outline and preliminary scaffold designs.

Two of our engineers Rachel Joshua and Samantha Mikhail inspiring #STEM students from local schools. RDG provided an outline and preliminary design for the conservation works carried out at Wentworth Woodhouse.
Tube and fitting design providing access for maintenance works at a power station based on Wilton International, Teesside. The scaffolding is ground founded, with the upper section based off the steelwork supporting the vessel with minimal tie locations.
RDG designed a 130m x 75m multi-span duo-pitch temporary roof for exhumation works at HS2, London Euston. Our MD Ray Gold and engineer Pooja Shah will be discussing the design on 27th March at the IStructE HQ. Tickets are free and are available at https://t.co/IZbuLsxzBJ
Our team in Glasgow provided a design and build for remedial works of Kingston Bridge. The design consisted of an access scaffold and cantilevered bridged deck along the bridge parapet edge. Vehicular access was maintained throughout the duration of the works.
Hoarding designed by RDG for London Underground, transformed into a canvas for Linder Sterling as part of the Art in the Underground project. The design consisted of 3.6m high steel posts anchored into concrete kentledge using resin anchor fixings. https://t.co/WTNO625mre
