This Island deal of Kushner’s is far worse then I ever suspected. This is a fortified military installation with its own bunker city. This is not a resort.
EXCLUSIVE: Senator Ron Johnson tells me Trump should have accepted the Electoral College defeat, and that the reality is Biden probably got 7 million more votes.
It's confusing that Trump constantly warns about the security of our elections & foreign interference, yet his administration has taken several steps to dismantle or divert resources away from key safeguards that were in place:
- Gutted the DOJ's Public Integrity Section (went from ~30-40 lawyers down to just 2)
- Left the Election Crimes Branch director position vacant
- Canceled all election integrity training for prosecutors & FBI agents
- Deleted the official 281-page Federal Prosecution of Election Offenses guide from the DOJ website
He disbanded the FBI's Foreign Influence Task Force, which targeted foreign efforts to meddle in U.S. politics & elections.
He also severely cut CISA (the agency for election cybersecurity), firing or transferring dozens of election security specialists, freezing key support programs for states, and proposing to eliminate the entire federal Election Security Program in future budgets.
You would think that if he were ACTUALLY concerned about the integrity & security of our elections, he would be allocating MORE resources, not less — or at least wouldn't be leaving these critical positions vacant & programs dismantled right before the midterms.
I want to be calm and clear:
This will impact every American who is not a multimillionaire.
One accident.
One bad day.
One diagnosis.
That’s all that separates most people from needing the social safety net they spent their entire lives paying into.
Actually apart from Trump’s health, the story that really made me convinced media outlets are silencing themselves was the Homan bribery story. The guy was literally caught on FBI hidden camera taking $50k in a Cava bag. Should be catnip for DC journalists! Barely covered.
Leaving this here, in case anyone is wondering why we have screwworm in the US for the first time since the 1960s.
The DOGE stupidity from Trump and Rollins will end up COSTING taxpayers money.
Ohio State University reached a $100 million settlement with 279 former students who were sexually abused by their campus doctor.
Richard Strauss worked for Ohio State's athletic department and medical staff for 20 years.
An independent investigation concluded that he sexually abused at least 177 male students while university staff who knew about the abuse failed to act.
Several former wrestlers have accused Republican member of Congress Jim Jordan (assistant coach at OSU) of knowing about Strauss's abuse but not taking action to stop it.
This man stole $10m from a medicaid settlement and laundered it through his wife's charity to run ads against voter backed amendments and wants to spend less.
What are we gonna do with the $1B spent on a tent prison in the Everglades?
Public dollars should come with public accountability.
No matter where a child is educated, common-sense accountability should apply to every taxpayer-funded program.

Question:
Did we just trigger an affordable housing extinction event?
Under this proposal, a city or county could approve hundreds of starter homes, extend roads, add parks, increase sheriff patrols, expand fire coverage, and serve new residents…
…while receiving little or no additional property tax revenue from the first $250,000 of value.
Why would they do that?
Local governments respond to incentives just like everyone else.
If starter homes create costs but generate little revenue, what gets approved instead?
Higher-priced homes.
Commercial development.
Anything that helps pay the bills.
The danger isn’t that local officials suddenly become anti-affordable housing.
The danger is that we create a system where approving affordable housing becomes fiscally irrational.
Affordable housing doesn’t disappear because politicians vote against it.
It disappears because the math no longer works.
And when the math stops working, so do the building permits.
Nearly 90% of Floridians surveyed in 2025 said they were concerned about inflation, and about half reported considering moving out of Florida because of rising costs. Maybe DeSantis should worry about his own state.
@jacob_wass@mtgreenee "She doesn't carry health insurance"?
She left Congress at almost the exact moment her permanent, life-long Congressional health insurance, paid for by the American taxpayer, kicked in...
@Fla_Pol@ByronDonalds@AGGancarski 🤣… good one AG
The only thing he got passed was the thing that ADDED TO HIS WIFE’s charter school bottom line .. that he conveniently left off his FEC filing @davidjollyfl
Since Trump is unable to bring a receipt of Democrats rigging elections, here's one of Arizona Republicans caught in the act of trying to rig the 2020 election, by signing fake elector forms for Trump.
It would be a shame to keep sharing this and other receipts...
