@berniemoreno @berniemoreno @JonHusted try passing a clean bill w/o unrelated amendments. Also, why do you think it’s OK for current members to own stock in companies that will be affected by legislation being voted on? MOCs should not own sell or buy individual stocks. Period. Vote on that!

@SenJonHusted @JonHusted Washington Post stated that even if enacted, the bill would not immediately reduce electricity bills. Its provisions would take time to take effect and would require states to implement the federal standard. The Grid Savings Act is the better legislation.
