I’m not interested in being a friend for aesthetics.
People really form groups or friendships with people that they think “look pretty” or can make them look good. That’s wack & superficial. No depth at all.
Friendships are REAL relationships & I think that’s forgotten.
@Orifunke This!!!! I really dislike it when people lay so much emphasis on Networking but I understand. There is a truth in it but! I have set a principle for myself that whoever gives to me must be given back to in whatever capacity I can. I need to see people above what they can give me.
What happened in Owo today again adds to my position that our country is fast becoming a failed state. All must now join hands in saving our country from this existential situation we find ourselves in today.
As an NGO we are deeply saddened by the attack on worshippers that resulted in the loss of many lives at the St.Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state. We hope the government takes action and not just condemn these acts but make sure the perpetrators are brought to book.
This day affirms the UN's Commitment to protect the rights of Children. It's work is guided by the convention on the rights of the child, the most rapidly and widely ratified international human rights treaty in history.

STOP THE ATTACK AGAINST CHILDREN!!!
The 4th of June of each year was commemorated as the international day of innocent children victims of Aggression due to the great number of innocent Palestinian and Lebanese children victims of Israel’s acts of aggression.
Education should include teaching students to be other focused. Start something new next year.
1. toy or can food drive
2. Help w/yard work for elderly or senior center.
3. Write a letter to a pen pal (senior/ war vet)
4. Spend time w/sick kids in hospital
What are some others?
WAYS TO IMPROVE Education
1 Stop viewing our kids as numbers
2 Less standardized testing
3 Provide actual & appropriate consequences for students to learn from
4 Provide more supports
5 Provide teachers more prep time
6 Smaller class sizes
7 Increase teacher salaries
We can’t expect teachers to work 60-70 hrs per week or more, but then tell them to self care. Maybe leaving is their self care? Let's focus on taking care of teachers in the 2022-2023 school year!
Our Mission
