🇸🇮 De nieuw verkozen rechtse premier van Slovenië, Janez Jan ša, kondigde aan dat zijn regering zal stoppen met Palestina als staat te erkennen.

Hij noemde de erkenning van Palestina een "illegale beslissing" die het internationale recht schendt.

Bovendien kondigde Jan ša plannen aan om de Sloveense ambassade in Israël te verplaatsen van Tel Aviv naar Jeruzalem, waardoor Slovenië het eerste land van de Europese Unie is die dat doet.

Dit is een ommekeer ten opzichte van de vorige linkse regering die sterke solidariteit met Palestina betuigde en zelfs de Palestijnse vlag hijste bij de ingang van het hoofdgebouw naast de nationale vlag.

Jan ša haalde de Palestina vlag bijna meteen neer als de eerste beslissing ooit genomen nadat hij tot premier was verkozen.

Dit is kolonialisme in zijn puurste vorm. Europa kijkt ernaar en doet niets. Een dekoloniseringsoorlog zoals in Nederlands-Indië, Frans Indochina of Algerije zal er niet komen omdat een groot deel van de politiek vergenoegd staat te kijken. Dat zou je landverraad kunnen noemen.
