This ignites the discussion about whether a third shirt is ever necessary.

The answer is no. We've only just reintroduced a third shirt a couple of seasons back after not having one since the early 90s (albeit occasionally using the previous season's away)

And we're wearing it against a predominantly red team, where red/green colour blindness make it an awkward match up.

The third shirt colours are far too similar to the Rotherham home shirt
