@EarlofFrankles Hey, thanks! If Iโm not mistaking you, this already exists! Tap the Update button next to โNotesโ (itโs bundled into that screen)
@DadFitSpartan @ElyWriting Yeah, absolutely. I hope to have shareable exports in the app fairly soon ๐๐
You can export (all books) to a CSV spreadsheet in the meantime, but itโs not a pretty export!
@maxcrayon33 Yes, Iโm planning to offer 50% off the first year of an annual subscription, or 20% off lifetime unlock. This should go live on 28th Nov and run until Monday 2nd Dec
New update out today: Reading List v2.6. This update adds a lots of niceties โจ
First up is eight newly designed Custom App Icons. My favourite is โSpellboundโ ๐ช
Download the update here and let me know what you think! https://t.co/51gAHBcojA
The @ReadingListApp by @AndrewBennet makes it easy to record your reading and plan your upcoming books to read, helping users monitor and reach their reading goals. ๐

I found a solution to this issue โ a minor app update is out now that restores barcode scanning for these devices. And it seems that iPadOS 17.5 (not out yet) will fix the underlying issue too.
Thanks to those whoโve reported an issue with scanning barcodes on iPads. This is a known issue with iPadOS 17.4 on certain iPad models โ I expect Apple to release a fix, but Iโm looking into workarounds in the meantime. Sorry for the inconvenience!
@grahamatar Hey there โ the app tries to download a thumbnail image of the cover, instead of the full-res one, to save on storage space. But it could be that the thumbnail that it has downloaded here (or is downloading in general) is even smaller than it should be. Iโll look into this ๐
Exciting news! ๐ฐ Reading List has been featured in the @washingtonpost as a favourite alternative to Goodreads, highlighting its tracking capabilities and privacy focus ๐

@Sandra31575 Iโve finished working on the fix for this issue โ the screen will now layout more appropriately when the text size is larger โ see attached screenshot (with *very* large text). Iโll include this in an update in the next few days hopefully ๐
@ForgottenLore89 Ah yes, this is a situation for which there isnโt a great solution. Depending on what you wanted to do, exporting to a CSV and manipulating it before reimporting could be useful to you. Iโll keep a web interface in mind though and see if I ever get around to that!
@ForgottenLore89 Iโm afraid I donโt have plans to develop a web interface for the iCloud data. If you have a (Apple silicon) Mac then you can use the app on your computerโฆ
