@Tysemon101 Taken at RAF Harwell about a mile from me.
There's a memorial service held every on 6th June at the end of the run way. Some of it was still there until a year ago but now a big moderna lab has been built on it.
Permanent memorial based on a horsa has recently been put up.
@TheHobbyShopCC It was a T55. Still in my stash but it was in no way enjoyable building it so packed away for another day. Had it for nearly 5 years now ๐คฃ
@TheHobbyShopCC Takom and Tamiya are good too.
Not built an Airfix since I was a kid.
DML were often poor fitting and came with horrendous instructions IMHO.
@TheHobbyShopCC Academy as usually clean sprues with easy to follow instructions.
RFM. Great subjects, more complex but still in my league.
Trumpeter. Same as Academy
Had to give up on a miniart. Lots of flash, too many parts when 1 or 2 would do fragile and hard to follow instructions
Academy T34.
Bit uninspiring but started a load of kits around the same time and got a bit bored with this one.
Final coat of matt and then I'm calling it done.
@Igorelo96 Fair point. Not meant as political & done as after thought to add colour.
Think in the west we don't see the flag the same but it's as bad as the swastika one which I'd never add.
Maybe I'll do my wife's Grandad's tank next. Polish Armoured with the Bren. Stanislav Sklarek.

Another one finished last night that I'd had kicking around for ages and came close to being put in the box of shame.
Zvezda BTR 80 so technically can be included in the group build I think.
Not a great kit to be honest. Poor fitting.
