As a librarian, I'm pissed by this comment. Graphic novels are just as valid as any other work of literature and they actually help kids transition from picture books to chapter books. They are also great reads for reluctant readers. SMH. The ignorance....
@MommaLuvsManga Every once I feel attractive (which always surprises me) but most of the time I do not and don't really believe someone if they say I am.
After some thought and taking your opinions into account, for now I will be ending my silent reading hour on Thrusdays and Sundays. I may pick it back up in the future so if you want stay up to date, follow this account. But a HUGE thank you to all have joined me for the hour!!💕
I posted a poll about whether I should keep my silent reading hour going or not and while I haven't come to a final decision I will not be hosting one tonight. Thanks to all who have given their opinion .
Next Tuesday at 8:30 PM EST, @WellReadSquid, @2020hines_sight, @bookishrealm, @dbooktician, and I will be discussing Escaping Exodus on my channel. This was a wild read, so this live will be a lot of fun! https://t.co/HrrsKhjU9T
