Our thanks to Riverdale Share Community Association for their recent grant. Your continued support has made a huge difference to ReadUP’s progress, helping us to open our first French club, and beefing up our book collections at the other clubs. Merci beaucoup!
@RiverdaleShare
Many thanks to Carol McPherson & Gerry Egan Children’s Charity for their most recent grant to ReadUP. We are very grateful for the support. The funds will be put to good use as we consolidate and improve our 10 clubs. Thank you!
It’s National Volunteer Week, the perfect time to say thank you to the myriad people who help to make ReadUP a success. We may be a tad biased, but it sure seems that we have the best volunteers on the planet. THANK YOU for your service to children in the community!
Good news! ReadUP will launch its tenth club on April 8th at Church Street Junior Public School to support emerging readers. We are very pleased to be working again with Principal Mark Lasso, who has been a ReadUP angel for years, along with his dedicated team of teachers.
ReadUP sends warm thanks to members of the Fyfe family. We have recently received a generous grant from The Fyfe Foundation, which will help ReadUP immensely through the course of 2019. Thank you! You have made a tangible difference in children’s lives.
With heavy hearts we say goodbye to David Booth, who passed away just before Christmas. Our condolences to his family, and to his vast network of friends, OISE colleagues, students and publishers. David was a cherished member of the ReadUP board and will be sorely missed.
Sheilah Currie is honoured to speak tonight at a donor and volunteer appreciation event hosted by @RedDoorFamilySh at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse. She will speak on behalf of the many volunteers who give their time to help with Red Door’s wonderful programs and services.
Hear ye! Hear ye! The ReadUP clubs are back in full swing. Gather your children and their bookbags, and come on over to the club. Let’s get reading! https://t.co/QSqMi6AaYq
To mark National Volunteer Week, ReadUP sends a huge THANK YOU to the scores of people who dedicate their time, talents, and resources to our organization. Because of you, hundreds of children in our city are learning to read and loving it. Thank you for your support!
ReadUP is once more a grant recipient of the Carol McPherson & Gerry Egan Children’s Charity. This is incredibly timely as we work toward the expansion of our clubs. Our heartfelt thanks go to the McPherson family, whose support has been instrumental in the success of ReadUP.
