A Call To Our People To Return To The Farm, Secure Our Future The Directorate of States of the Indigenous People of Biafra is here by reminding our people that our strength has always come from the soil beneath our feet, For generations, farming fed our families, built our communities, and gave us dignity. Today, we call on every son and daughter of Biafra to return to farming. Food security is true freedom, When we grow what we eat, no external force can hold our people hostage to hunger or high prices. Our land is fertile, Our people are hardworking and innovative, From cassava to yam, rice to vegetables, palm oil to fish farming, poultry, cattle and our native goat breed rearing etc., we have the capacity to feed ourselves and create wealth through farming. Let us revive our farm cooperatives, let those philanthropists sharing bags of rice and other relieve materials support our youth in some agriculture empowerments let's reclaim abandoned farmlands, Let every compound plant something, Let our Town Union leadership and Ndị Eze organize market days that prioritise local produce, Let us make farming a source of pride again.
