Great morning for Breakfast & Bingo. Love the fact there are so many young people who have fantastic ideas for their community. Shout out to @lisaforevermanc for the help and @benchillcomcent and their staff too 🥳
Monday and we have met a very depressed individual who is grieving the loss of her husband. A marriage that spanned 66 years. She lives off Firbank Road. Anyone local to visit this lady? She will need cajoling to get out and about so we require quite a committed volunteer.
We start the week with 12 older residents of Wythenshawe wanting regular company. To share their experiences, to learn something new, to get out and about a bit more. Volunteers are DBS checked at our expense and fully prepared for their roles.
No one should be lonely, fullstop.
