@TheBrainBattery I can't understand being proud of never getting sun, but I understand the situation they're in. We do PT before the sun comes up, our uniform only leaves the face exposed, and by the time we get off of work, the sun is down. This only leaves the weekend to get some sun.

Human behavior is largely shaped by habits, which are formed through repetition and can have a significant impact on our lives. (nothing groundbreaking here, but it may have been in 1890)
@DrBPHealth Absolutely, it is so interesting to read this study on habits from research done in the 19th century because I have read so much modern work on habits. There is a lot they knew, but also some things that they had wrong.
William James has two maxims for implementing new habits or relinquishing old habits.
1. Take care to launch yourself with as strong and decided an initiative as possible.
2. Never suffer an exception to occur until the new habit is securely rooted in your life.

@CoachRizwani Great info here. I increased my total calories by 25%, but changed my macros around to give me more protein and less carbs and dropped 11lbs body fat and gain 5 lbs muscle in 6 weeks (measured on Inbody scans).
