Complete bullshit. 99.99% of people lawfully concealing carrying are doing so to defend themselves and others. He was in a highly populated area; it’s completely logical to bring extra ammo. I’ve done it, and most of my friends have done it. None of us were planning to do anything; we were just preparing for the worst.

The amount of ammo and an optic aren’t evidence of anything, especially intent.

If you have real evidence use the real evidence. The democrat “his gun is extra scary” talking point isn’t one you get to use as the pro 2A side. Especially for a mall ninja edition Sig p320.

I have attended quite a few protests in my adult life - I was carrying a gun at ALL of them. When they were high profile, such as VCDL's annual Lobby Day protest or the anti COVID lockdown protests in Raleigh for example, I absolutely carried a spare magazine as well.

Did I impede or resist law enforcement? Nope. Did I ever have any issues or get arrested/shot? Nope.

At the end of this montage you can see me peacefully handing out several hundred standard capacity AR15 magazines at a protest in Richmond. I had a Glock 17 RTF2 under my jacket - peaceful as can be.

This is not about the gun and this talking point WILL be used by anti-gunners if they keep saying it. The administration should stop parroting this illogical and counter productive talking point IMO.

Protest accordingly...

@GuntherEagleman I think this is the same thing that would be said by the mayor in Dearborn, MI. That is a place completely taken over by Muslims, and for sure more than a few extremists (judging largely by the demonstrations there). That should be the next place on the stops by ICE.

@drparker76 @ShawnRyanShow FYI, it was likely not weather altering chemicals he was sprayed with. It was likely herbicides, like paraquat and Agent Orange. Doesn't make it any better. I'm a neuroscientist and used paraquat/saw other similar chemicals used (maneb, diquat, rotenone, etc) to induce PD in mice
