I actually think this is a cool feature. However, I would like to see it in game at some point. Maybe an NPC you can talk to that is a form of "storyteller" is character that can look into the characters past. To make it a bit more rp-ish. Not negative just an idea for the future

The officials used by @IIHFHockey is a legit joke. Can you soon try at least to find officials that are not visibly supporting one of the teams playing? This has been a problem whenever Norway play. And has been for the past 10 YEARS. The IIHF is legit a joke to the hockey world.

@Darklurkar Agreed. The best would be to have the only thing we get from selecting a "faction" being cosmetic rewards. Not having several different powers spread out. Best would be no borrowed power at all. But if they have to add one. Make it a general one, not bound to a faction.
