@JonPaula Im surprised how good the visuals are. I wasn't expecting so much detail, lighting detail and overall visual richness. I was expecting something more like the tomb raiser remasters.
@BoTalksGames the visuals actually look more sophisticated than I expected. There is even some ground fog near the duku tree that has a volumetric fluid simulation. Im not a fan of the plastic looking shiny skin and hair, but overall it does a good job in modernising OOT visuals+gameplay
@ChumBucketDrama@mrpyo1 What did you expect? when adding vastly more detail, polycount, framerate etc its going to look different. The characters may not look the best from an art POV but everything else looks excellent.
@mrpyo1 im pleased with the remake overall, it looks a huge QOL gameplay update and the environment and added detail is amazing. youn Link looks a bit to babyish, this looks a bit better.
@AestheticGamer1 Yes, like the shiny plastic looking skin and hair, but what would be the better version? something more like the new fables visuals? The original characters were never realistic. new Final fantasy chracters art style would probably be better, but that has a bigger budget.
@La_Cosa_84@RealNintenKing@AestheticGamer1 ok.. show somthing that doesn't look like UE5 slop. when going from N64 to switch 2 the remake will be jarring no matter what you do.
@AestheticGamer1@BioWD I agree to certain extent that the characters and some art and tech decisions may not be the best. However Actually playing the game this remake looks the best way to play because its more realistic and detailed. Its more immersive because it looks more real.
@zock3r_bruder@shinobi602 what wouldn't look like UE5 ai slop, please give examples, and mention the specific visual components which you think gives it this look.
