@SpaceTheGamer@uiulex I’ve seen this game get referred to as feeling moreso a “Daybreak 1.5” of sorts
And that it also fills in a range of time that would usually be skipped over in an arc
@uiulex I think these play often enough in multiple scenarios
CS III: Step Ahead
CS IV: Endure Grief, Belief, Bold Assailants
Reverie: Sword of Swords, Elegant Prowess
Daybreak: Hard Desperation
Daybreak II: Believing Heart, Line of Non-Negotiable
@Tefio_ Even now this combat system feels the most strategic of the FF I’ve played
Has a very real-time aspect to it switching formations on the fly to respond to enemies while also keeping that stagger meter going
Shines particularly well on boss fights Also summons are super cool
@Tefio_ Doesn’t feel complete without a full 3-person party so the early chapters can drag a bit outside of some bosses
It’ll pick up by the midway point thankfully while also having summons + bigger ATB bar
