It's been a crazy 14 years. I can stand tall knowing I fought like hell. I made it 8 years after receiving a terminal diagnosis.

Still, while I always knew it was coming, it's surreal. I'm dying very soon. Crazy.

This is a very important thing to understand, but it is almost universally ignored these days.
People have no concepts of how good their lives actually are.
I was just talking about this with my brother. There are people who live off the government entirely, various welfare programs and food stamps, etc. and they order Uber eats and stay inside all day long and they never have any association with anyone in the world.
It’s very sad.
When we are given the opportunity to live in total comfort and leisure and have zero responsibilities without even having to work, we let our lives become isolated, lonely, and pathetic.
