@TeamYouTube

This is the 4th time in a month that my channel has been age restricted for a phantom "sex and nudity" policy violations LIVE or BEFORE streaming. This disables superchats and requires a 72 hour review time for a stream that is currently active. That's crazy. Can you fix this?

[Hellession @RealHellession]

Gotta love when you're looking into an old ass story, someone posts a link to some kinda testimony, statement or corroborating evidence, you try to look into it and just see this

If you don't want ads on your content, your only way to achieve that is to be in YPP, be claim free and then turn off monetization.

However this change strips more people of this honest style of content, that is rid of annoying ads.

Affects few creators, but still sad...

[Hellession @RealHellession]

Creators I follow say how you earn basically nothing on this level, so this change doesn't make a difference...

...which is fair...

but I have a different issue personally.
Some creators don't want ads at all on their content, but if you're not in YPP, YouTube still places them

YouTube is making changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) for *new* applicants.

Starting February 1, 2027, creators will need:
1. 8000 Qualified Watch Hours (up from 4000), or
2. 20M Qualified Shorts Views (up from 10M)

There are no eligibility changes for fan funding.

Bro what the fuck, how long will this spam keep on going? The 'Anomaly' here is either fake or when I click on it to see the post, I find that it's been deleted.

Biggest irony is YouTube telling me to turn on App Notifications. "You're missing out on seeing MORE of this spam!!"

Lime states that most disputes or appeals were accepted, with claims lifted. However 3 videos received scheduled copyright takedowns which will activate in 7 days. It appears Lime is intending to issue counter notifications in response when the strikes activate.

[Hellession @RealHellession]

Slicedlime's YouTube channel is at risk of termination due to 3 pending copyright takedowns. According to lime, the music was originally licensed under CC-BY, but now hundreds of his videos got claimed.
He disputed each claim and seemingly appealed if disputes were rejected.

My channel has been hit by yet another a Creative Commons bait-and-switch - this time with actual copyright strikes pending and might get removed. Full post: https://t.co/B245AckNXU

When will gifs and videos finally be fixed and play properly on Linux Discord clients?

They want you to use the standalone app, when the website version is actually more functional lol.

@TubaAntics @TeamYouTube Hey, do you have the link to what you're being copyright claimed with? Their 'remix'?
Don't think I can find it with 'Ses'

I am guessing they are actually a copyright troll and need their Copyright ID rights revoked...

New YouTube video dropping tomorrow.
A game we've not been able to buy for almost 10 years now...

You’re not going to believe this lmao

🚨RETWEET

Today I woke up and found out my entire channel "AugieRFC" was suspended (along with my personal google account that is on a completely separate email and private)

Please follow me on Kick. I will try to get my channel reinstated, but I am not hopeful at the moment.

The reason I was given was for violating the child safety policy. This obviously never happened. I don't really know what else to say about that. This was likely @TeamYouTube's new AI moderation going haywire.

@TeamYouTube please take a second look at this and reinstate my channel.

[Hellession @RealHellession]

@slicedlime I am really glad the "1." has finally been dropped, because it was a complete waste of space and meant nothing, especially because the number never changed.

The fact that people are even complaining about that is hilarious. Actually just hating ordinary, benign changes
