@Gibaracione@JunoNetwork@sunnya97 Cuz Osmosis was being honest.
"Leading code contributing network" what?
One PR by JUNO on https://t.co/NatFoBJQ7V to add CI.
Start of Cosmos SDK module all by Confio https://t.co/KE8O0uhQXY
Juno, where's your code?
Thank you @terra_money for your support! https://t.co/MDiEedfJSp ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
I'm publicly confirming the address terra16nya7sg4ut7dwwll477d3y95feujgnz4uwha6e belongs to Confio GmbH and we request grant funding to be sent there.
@svabhishek@cosmos@larry0x@gadikian There is no self-destruct and reuse of an address in CosmWasm.
If you deployed a valid contract, but kept control of the admin for it, you could "migrate" it to new bytecode (proper upgrade path).
Just check admin is nil or secure DAO before trusting a contract.
@TheCyberHoward > Switching from tarpaulin to llvm-cov increased our coverage by 15%
What does that mean? You got higher numbers on llvm-cov?
I use tarpaulin and often have 95% coverage on contracts, missing some more paranoid error cases. But maybe llvm-cov would show I am still missing some?
@amitpr@larry0x@simon_warta@CosmWasm Cuz people like breaking things.
CosmWasm was much more user friendly in return values a year ago... til people found this exposed non-determinism in the Cosmos SDK (queries, errors, events) and exploited that for chain halts.
@larry0x I fully disagree.
Maybe one per (connection, port). But there are at least 2 commonly used connections between Juno and Osmosis to the Osmosis ics20 transfer port - one for native, another a contract for CW20 tokens.
I spent many months undoing arbitrary limitations in specs.
โWeb3โ is an entrenchment of the client-server model, locking users in to a centralized design while masquerading as decentralized system.
We need a replacement for the World Wide Web (WWW), not a browser extension which deludes users into trusting a third party.
@0xekez I bet @danlynch could build this tooling real fast like... if someone incentivized Cosmology to do so.
(That said, enums in Go are a pain, gogo-protobuf does them correctly but Go devs don't like that)

Very good thread for all serious IBC devs to read.
Good question by @larry0x and great answers.
TL;DR app callbacks are needed for much IBC functionality but are not present unless you use custom contracts and channels.
If my CW contract sends an ics-20 packet via the transfer channel (not the wasm contract-to-contract channel), is it possible for it to get a callback on packet ack or timeout?

If AI turns mediocre writing containing no new ideas into a commodity, will that increase the "price" of good writing that does contain them? History offers some encouragement. Handmade things were appreciated more once it was no longer the default.
I bet most of yall knew this, but i was yesterday day's old when i realized i could bridge Polygon $MATIC monies into the #Cosmos via @wynddao. Mind-blown how simple it was while avoiding the ridiculous $ETH fees in getting my MATIC out of MetaMask.๐๐ฝ @JunoNetwork#IBC#Crypto
