Who do you think is the greatest horse ever? For me, it's Zenyatta. I was rail side for her famous, heart stopping, come-from-behind 2009 Classic at 5/2. 20 races, 19 wins. Yes, Secretariat and Flightline are champions, but #Zenyatta is the Queen of the kingdom.
You gotta admit that @jockeyclub & @Grayson_JC does more for horse health & safety than anybody else. Equine injury database, millions for aftercare, "but for" TJC there is no @hisa_us and a host of other stuff like the Welfare & Safety Summit. Can't understand the screeching critics who blow up racing twitter feeds. Be there in June. #aftercare
Forever Young is the Lebron James of racing - he always shows up and puts on a great show. The horse is the definition of a champion. @#Horseracing@BreedersCup

Big win! I started using Race Lens a few months ago and it has become a standard part of my handicapping tools. Especially love the "Real Odds" section and the way I can customize it to my handicapping style. And it is cheap as hell - $10 for all the day's tracks and races. @Equibase and @jockeyclub do great things with data.
Through Day 1 of #NHC2026, active Race Lens user Michael Saletta leads with $156.24!!
2025 Horseplayer of the Year DAN PIAZZA, who used #RaceLens to win the NHC last year, is in 5th with $137.18!
Through Sunday you can use Race Lens with a FREE Day Pass with promo code: NHC26
Try it out today and take your handicapping to the next level with the link below:

Nice advice from @winwagering about getting detailed pedigree info. from https://t.co/gSWIn1rQkg. Didn't know about this offering from @jockeyclub and checking it out.
@jockeyclub@TBaftercare TJC spends millions every year on aftercare and others need to do more. Aftercare is everybody's responsibility. Time to step up people and orgs.
Hats off to @TBaftercare, great job in helping 20K TB racers, $40M+ is a big deal. And to @jockeyclub for spending millions, year after year, with @BreedersCup @keenlandracing & others. More $$ needed & more folks need to step up, it's a responsibility for everyone. #horseracing
@TBaftercare, initially funded by seed money from Breeders’ Cup Ltd., The Jockey Club, and Keeneland Association Inc., has granted more than $40.74 million to accredited aftercare organizations, aiding 20,000 Thoroughbreds coming off the track.
Currently, @TBaftercare has accredited 86 organizations with approximately 175 facilities. For more information and a full list of these organizations, visit https://t.co/Be2jXOUEA5.
I find it interesting when rich people don’t get their way, the system has to be rigged.
Of course every organization can make improvements and the @jockeyclub is not an exception but the Jockey club is not THE problem with the industry. If not for the jockey club, the @BreedersCup and @hisa_us I wouldn’t have invested what I have in this industry.
Private businesses have the right to remain private. They don’t owe anyone an explanation. There is nothing unfair about it.
What other competitive sport in America can the public participate with ownership equally with established owners?
Non-profits and private companies that do business in the public sector have no obligation to disclose proprietary confidential information.
This is a right that each one of us enjoy and we can’t pick and choose when it should apply.
I fully support these organizations and I am not a member of any of the organizations.
The Year of the Horse represents power, resilience, and forward momentum. Values that guide our commitment to lifelong care and second careers for retired racehorses. ❤️
Happy Chinese New Year!

A lot of racing fans think all useful horse racing data is paywalled. Not true. @Equibase offers free entries, results & full charts, plus tools like Virtual Stable and horse/trainer/jockey profiles. Learn more by reading a recent @PasttheWire story. https://t.co/m4uBTu5cSz

The Jockey Club recently launched its traceability survey, which records the status of a Thoroughbred so the industry can better understand the whereabouts of Thoroughbreds that have retired from breeding and racing. Next summer, The Jockey Club will analyze the responses, and the findings will be presented at the 2026 Round Table Conference. For more information, please visit https://t.co/4dP95lRu2E.
