If I may- in my estimation- #WidowsBay may very well be the best streaming series in a long time… and hands down one of the most mesmerizing acts of narrative prestidigitation in Horror.
@AmiEverAfter My mom and I read Little House on the Prairie every night before bed when I was in elem school. Not only are those my favorite memories of her, but also the foundation for a lifelong joy of reading. It got to the point that she could use "reading time" as a reward if needed. 😁

jane austen is so load-bearing that it is probably impossible to imagine the subsequent history of the novel without her; she is (with flaubert, maybe) *the* hinge between the loose-jointed, episodic novel and its later controlled narratological form!
