Speaking “long term” - Harden has $42mil player option for 26-27. If exercised means he’s under contract only one year less than DG.

Plus Harden future contracts - should he keep playing - project to be shorter term in late 30s while DG will want long-term at age 28. #Cavs

If #Monken lasts 8 seasons till age 68, he’d tie Blanton Collier for 2nd longest HC tenure in #Browns history.

Fair to conclude using Monken’s age as disqualifier or evidence of “bridge hire” defies historical context.
