@AAcaleb98@thall767@CriticalReds You are correct. A lot of times the 1st baseman will step on the base (especially when he's right near the base) first, then throw to 2nd allowing the 2nd basemen enough time to tag the runner out.
@MiddleAgeCrazy@CriticalReds The catcher had a brain freeze, the play happened right in front of him, bases loaded scenario should have played out in his head already. It should have been a guaranteed double played, the runner was 20 ft away when he received the ball, all he had to do was tag him out.
@AAcaleb98@CriticalReds No reason to feel dumb you just didn't know, but once the 3rd basemen stepped on 3rd base it became a force out for the runner advancing from 2nd base to 3rd base,
which means the force out is no longer in play for the runner advancing from 3rd to home (he must be tagged out).
