The company says an unauthorized third party gained access to its systems, potentially exposing personal information and internal company data, including master data for the game anemoi

The incident has been reported to authorities, new orders on VA STORE have been temporarily suspended, and VISUAL ARTS says it is implementing additional security measures while notifying affected parties

Yoshikuni Toyoizumi announced his resignation from Visual Arts effective at the end of August.

In charge of product management and public relations, he joined the company during the production of "Little Busters!". His achievements include porting works to overseas, game production in collaboration with other companies, managing newcomer awards, editing books, and exhibiting events and holding live performances domestically and internationally.

Currently, he is in the process of handing over his responsibilities to his successor. His reason for leaving is that although he has lingering attachments and affections for the creators and IPs, he felt it was difficult to achieve what he wants to do in his current environment. For his future endeavors, nothing has been decided yet.
