@JakeKwon88 Love your tweets but please post on Threads! Even if it's just copy and paste, there are only a couple of people left that I come here for and you're one of them!
@KevinDeShazo Lol what??? Now that I think about it I do recall hearing something about that but I’ve never thought about it (honestly try not to think about him at all lol). But curious about your Q. I’d imagine there are lots of great startup/product leaders that are in spectrum?
There are (going to be) 1M new users on Threads but 99% of them are using it wrong. Here's how you can make $10K/day in passive income on Threads. 1/27...
@jowyang@gregorykennedy Yeah when you put it that easy… I mean $44B sheesh. I don’t actually think Twitter will die anytime soon. I just think Meta could take over as THE text based water cooler for much of what many Tw users come here for. Breaking news, cultural moments, TV, events etc.
@tylerbraun@KevinDeShazo That would translate well. But would you also use it exactly like how you use Twitter now if a bunch of sports accounts used it for real time discussion? As a source of text based cultural water cooler etc.
Apparently Threads will give you the option to follow everyone you’re already following on IG or start over and follow users manually. Which will you do?
@tylerbraun Anyone that’s following 10k has problems lol but yeah I like your strategy - start with a few hundred and then remove. I’d start fresh. Feels like a new beginning.
@KeeganThomson_@CalebHodgson Chipotle is like the turkey sandwich or pb&j of Mexican food. Of course an open face strip steak sandwich or croque monsieur is better, but sometimes that plain ass turkey sandwich hits the spot.
@gregorykennedy@jowyang But does that mean it will survive forever? All platforms die eventually. DAU can’t event match Snap, and it’s tiny compared to Instagram.
@jowyang Lack of leadership will open the door for #1 to happen. Threads, which already has advantages, just needs some key media/celebrities to prioritize it over Twitter and it will thrive. And all brands have already shown a willingness to meet audiences on new/emerging platforms.
