Subramaniam Chandrasekhar was
based as fuck.
He was 19 and was traveling by ship to London, and was bored. He got interested in the question: “What happens to stars when they run out of fuel?” It was widely believed at the time they simply become white dwarfs.

Well Chandrasekhar showed that above a certain mass (the Chandrasekhar limit), stars would collapse into either neutron stars or black holes.

And he won the Nobel Prize in Physics for the calculations he did when he was 19 and bored on a ship.
