The funniest maths in modern environmentalism.
One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled.
The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy.
Meanwhile, in Cheshire.
A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain.
She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco.
To recap.
600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water.
Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food.
The shopper picks the almond.
She has been told this is the ethical position.
The aquifer would like a word.
Islam has a problem with gays, Jews, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, women, non-Muslims, atheists and apostates, but if I have a problem with Islam, I'm the bigot?
Can you see how ridiculous it is?
These are the 304 MPs who voted to end the right to jury trials.
All of them are Labour. Today is the day that justice died in Britain.
Name and shame them.
Never forget their betrayal.

Today having spoken to all of his owners I have taken the decision to retire Brentford Hope.
From the very start of my training career, Dave, as we all know him has been a completely wonderful horse for us all. Taking us to some fabulous places, winning some lovely races and giving his owners The Optimists so much fun along the way.
His group of owners have been absolutely incredible, supportive regardless of result, game for a challenge and always put the needs of Dave first.
For the first time in his life on Saturday watching through my binoculars he looked like he didn’t want to line up and face the starter and for a brilliantly genuine horse, I felt as his trainer it was my responsibility to listen to him telling us he’d had enough.
There are so many people in my team that have been part of his journey and all of us love him dearly.
On ratings, performance and history Brentford Hope won’t go down as anything special but to a young trainer aspiring to get on a bigger stage at the start of his career, he will always be a total superstar.
This afternoon I took this picture of him enjoying the sunshine in the paddock. Safe, sound, happy and in one piece.
Thank you so much Dave. For all your efforts. I hope I train many better than you but it will be a long time before I love one like you ⭐️

Quote: 'Did you know when I was 16, the government made an agreement with me, that if I paid National Insurance every week, they would give me a pension when I was 60
I kept my end of the deal and am still paying in!!
On the 5th and 6th of June, the UK Government may be made to give back the right to retire at 60 to all those women who worked and paid their National Insurance.
Currently their pension payout is delayed until 66 or 67 depending on date of birth.
We all know that the pension age for women born in the sixties has been raised. Did you know a campaign called ‘Back to 60 Movement’ has won the right to a Judicial Review and is taking the DWP to the High Court? On the 5th and 6th June they will attempt to get women justice over non consultation in raising the pensionable age to 66 and above.
Michael Mansfield QC will lead the case and the argument for the movement. However, there does not appear to be any media coverage regarding this significant event. That is why we’re raising the awareness now. Let's hope for justice rightly deserved.
There appears to be a media blackout on this issue, which suggests that the government have put a block on the media reporting it. So let’s use social media for what it’s good at - share the hell out of this. Come on ladies - this is worth a great deal to you!'

1930: Soviet Union, height of collectivization.
Stalin's plan: Eliminate private farming. All agriculture becomes state-controlled.
The stated goal: Efficiency and equality.
The actual goal: Total food control.
Private livestock ownership is banned first. Owning a cow makes you a kulak. Kulaks are class enemies. Class enemies are executed or sent to gulags.
Within 3 years:
- Cattle population drops 60%
- Pig population drops 55%
- Sheep/goat population drops 65%
Peasants who'd been feeding themselves with household livestock are now dependent on state grain rations.
The famine follows immediately. Not from crop failure. From deliberate grain confiscation and livestock elimination.
4-7 million dead in Ukraine alone. Millions more across the Soviet Union.
But here's the part they don't teach: The Communist Party elite never stopped eating meat.
Special stores called "Beryozka" served party members only. Stocked with beef, pork, chicken, dairy, fresh vegetables.
The peasants starved on grain rations while watching party officials eat better than they'd ever eaten.
This created the perfect population control mechanism:
- Eliminate independent food production
- Create dependency on state rations
- Control who gets adequate food based on compliance
- Use hunger as a weapon against dissent
Compliant workers got better rations. Critics got less.
The threat of starvation was more effective than secret police.
The same pattern repeated in every communist state:
China: Great Leap Forward kills 45 million. Party elite dines on duck and pork in Beijing while peasants eat tree bark.
Cambodia: Khmer Rouge executes anyone owning livestock. Grain rations for workers. Meat for party members.
North Korea: Ongoing starvation for citizens. Kim family eats imported Japanese beef and Swiss cheese.
Venezuela: Cattle ranches nationalized. Production collapses. Government officials eat meat. Citizens get rice rations.
The collectivization is never about equality. It's about control.
Independent protein production makes you ungovernable. You can feed yourself without state permission.
Grain dependency makes you compliant. You eat what they give you. You work to earn food access. You don't rebel because hungry people don't fight.
"Seize the means of production" always starts by seizing independent food production.
And independent food production has always meant livestock.
The 20th century proved it: Control the meat supply, control the population. Starve dissenters. Feed loyalists.
The same formula the Pharaohs used 5,000 years ago.
Just more efficient with modern agriculture and state control.
The BBC was always there - for all of us. It was like the Beatles and Christmas. The big state events, Top of the Pops, the gold standard for news, etc. Everything. But that was then.
I can’t remember the last time I watched it. Can you? I stopped listening to the Today programme years ago, mainly because I felt like I was being told off every morning. ‘You’re white, male and middle-aged - my God we hate you! Now listen to what you’re guilty of, scumbag, before you go to work…’
The BLM stuff tipped it over the edge. Then it went trans bonkers, and then Hamas crazy. Throw in the climate emergency garbage and TDS and you get full-on conspiracy.
It has to go. If we’re to save our country from the lunacy that is identity politics, it is very important that the BBC is ritualistically binned. It was so central to who we were; it must play no part in who we are to be.

What's my point?
We have set the stage for Islamist terror in the West ourselves --through mass immigration, porous borders and a total failure to integrate newcomers
To paraphrase Garrett Jones, from his book The Culture Transplant, migrants do not instantly adopt the host country's 'British' or 'English' culture and identity
Far from it
They retain central aspects of their origin countries --including religion, belief, attitudes toward violence, hatred of non-believers, and so on
This is what the rape gang scandal was about; we imported clan-based networks from rural Pakistan that think non-believers are fair game and distrust authority
The vast majority of radical Islamists in Britain were either born abroad or trace their roots back on these islands only one generation, while living in 'closed' social networks filled with other people from their origin countries, which reinforce these different cultures
Immigration, in other words, is not just about importing people; it is about importing attitudes, norms, and ways of life, some of which are directly opposed to our own
This is what the UK has been doing for 30 years, importing radically different if not incompatible cultures which then persist across generations
Today, this is being compounded by importing 180,000 unvetted illegal migrants into the country in just 7 years, including nearly 2,000 in the last week alone
And in the years ahead this process of radically reshaping our country and culture around people who have no serious ties to it will only accelerate, massively, because of the path we are currently on
By the 2070s, the 'foreign-born' and their immediate descendants will represent a majority in the UK; by 2100, roughly 1 in 4 people will follow Islam in the UK, rising perhaps to 1 in 3 among the under-40s
What will unify these people, exactly?
With no deep roots in the country, no shared sense of collective memory and no shared culture, what will hold them all together?
"Celebrating diversity" is not a serious answer
This is also why the idea, aggressively promoted by liberal progressives, that you can instantly become 'British' or 'English' after stepping into the country, or after living here for just a few years, is truly absurd
As Roger Scruton said, it is a shared identity, culture and way of life that makes a nation, not a set of legal documents
In short, every terrorist attack now is a reminder of the fact we have been importing people who hate who we are and cling to totally different cultures, identities, and outlooks, all of which is making our own culture, identity, and social cohesion harder to maintain
We can either keep ignoring this awkward reality or we can do something about it --which would mean radically reshaping our country and its future around people who have deep roots and ties to this country, are genuinely integrating, calling time on mass immigration, doing whatever is required to fix our borders, and launching an all-out assault on Islamism in our society
