Lost in the debate over whether the Tigers should be selling or buying before the trade deadline is this simple point: if you don't want to pay to keep the game's best pitcher, who's been playing for you for years with a good reputation, then you shouldn't own a baseball team.
Suddenly, remarkably, Tigers only 4.5 games out of first place, 3.5 games out of the wildcard. Everyone has tried to put a fork in them, and in May they were putting a fork in themselves. They look fully unforked.
FORKS UP!
*Zlatan on Messi missing the PK*
“Everyone misses PK’s. I’ve missed PK’s, Thierry has missed PK’s… Alexi was never asked to take PK’s so he couldn’t miss…” 😬😬
Jeff Teague says Larry Bird had one rule when building a team...
NEVER sign players that played with LeBron. 😭
Bird: "I will never pay anybody that played with LeBron. I would never pick them up on my team."
Teague: "I said, 'Why?'"
"He said, 'Because he make them all look good. They're all really sad'."
"You go get them, and then they're not going to be the same player you wanted."
Rocky began as a script about one man's struggle, but five decades later, it has become a global symbol of perseverance that transcends borders. As we celebrate America 250, people still show up to run those same steps Rocky ran in 1976, all 72 of them.

This week alone:
DOJ opens an investigation into the woman Trump raped.
The White House is caught steering a $620 million contract to Don Jr.’s firm.
The Pentagon hands out a $10 billion contract after Trump buys stock in the company.
Foreign governments are caught funneling hundreds of millions into a random JPMorgan account tied to Trump’s “Board of Peace” with no oversight.
It’s just Thursday.
The corruption isn’t hidden anymore. It’s happening out in the open.
Utah is a NO VOTE state.
Gov't Billionaires cut deals with Capitalist Billionaires against the peasants.
It's a head trip to be a Gov't billionaire spending $125 Billion of peasant money per term.
Two Parents with two college degrees, two jobs, and four children are to stupid to Vote in Utah.
The elites must vote for them. "They know best."
Utah Code 73-1-1: "All water in this state, whether above or below ground are hereby declared to be the property of the public."
It's the Public's water. They have a legal right to vote on whether they want to use their water for Data Centers, Nuke Plants, etc. It's their right by law which is ignored.
Why are No Votes allowed on Data Centers, Nuke Plants, $5 Billion to billionaire donors for Stadiums, moving the Prison on top of an old city dump in a West Nile Virus mosquito swamp, the $1.5 Billion longest gondola in the world, Tax Increases, The Olympics, or Recall Rights?
In Colorado, the peasants have a legal right to vote on all tax increases, and recall elected officials. Colorado builds new reservoirs.
In Utah, the peasants have no right to vote on tax increases, and no right to recall elected officials. Utah builds no new reservoirs in 40 years, and prays for rain.
Utah claims it's more educate, more diverse, more righteous. What's the deal?
Because the Public is barely smart enough to work two jobs and pay for stuff the elites, gov't Super Shoppers with other people's money taking a cut.
Every 4 years we do get to vote on the anointed two for Governor in a pretend election rigged where the convention means nothing. Anyone with $200,000 can buy a place on the ballot.
Some elected officials are in office only by the $200,000 rigged process.

On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women in uniform who gave their lives for this country that we love. It is a debt we can never fully repay, but we must never stop trying. I’ll always be grateful to our fallen heroes and their families, whose sacrifice reminds us of what it means to live for something greater than ourselves.
