The elites sometimes claim they can hire half the working class to kill the other half. They don't need to go that far, but their wealth gives them the power to easily control the workers.
The elite are the 1% - so they can't win in a democracy. In order to win they need to convince half of the remaining 99% to vote for them.
To do this, they first buy up the press.
Then they demonise minority groups and create a made up crisis to convince you that the minority group are the problem.
Then, they convince you one of them, is on your side and is here to save you.
Don't fall for it.

@tobytarrant Be careful, I used to do judo when I was a teenager! I also did First Aid with St John's Ambulance Brigade, so I could have patched up your Dad afterwards.
Interesting that Starmer has big plans for people to learn English. Where? Who? How? FE colleges have been decimated over the last few years. Where can people go to get cheap or free English lessons, that are near to their homes, taught by experienced, well-trained teachers?
@Ed_Miliband But Ed govt is removing Winter Fuel Payment from 10m pensioners without any consultation. It wasn't in the manifesto.
6m households are in fuel poverty. You can curb corporate profiteering, but govt has chosen not to.
People are right to ask WHY?
New austerity.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves hits pensioners.
Those not receiving pension credits or means-tested benefits will not receive winter fuel payments.
Thousands will be hit at the boundary. Will need to find money from somewhere or freeze.
No tax rises for the rich.
Worrying: Almost the first act of new govt - keep the two-child benefit cap, cut winter fuel payment.
Alternatives - windfall tax on energy, internet, banks, energy companies; tax capital gains, dividends at same rate as wages, wealth tax.
Why hit children and pensioners?
Being refused travel insurance is really upsetting, the last Co which issued me in the past now quotes £1342 for a 2 wk trip- this is 1 of the reasons I campaign to reinstate Bevan's NHS cos if we have to go private/rely on insurance there's nothing down for people like me
23 May 2024 @TheFCA fined @HSBC_UK £6,280,100 for failures in treatment of customers in arrears or in financial difficulty and put 1.5 million customers at risk of greater financial harm.
14 June 2024 Mark Tucker chairman of @HSBC_UK knighted ‘for services to the Economy’.
@PaulMar72224296 Gongs sit nicely with the feudal Post Office that had the power to overwhelm subpostmasters for so long.
Complete financial restitution for the SPMs is the real answer, not baubles. And, of course, criminal prosecutions of P. O. Execs and their psychopathic lawyers.
A reminder, if you have a kindle and you want a beach read this summer, The Great Post Office Scandal is currently available for 99p on kindle via Amazon for the next 50 hours only.
It looks like this:
@abbyaug Pack up, sit up and shut up were the end of lesson instructions in my 1960s geog class. Exam report comments in that subject were... unsatisfactory, satisfactory, only satisfactory and very satisfactory. A man of few words.
So where is the mainstream U.K. political leader who - thinks Brekshit was a farce, hates children being murdered in their thousands, wants an inclusive, fair society for all, will call out corruption and nepotism in their own party or government, will appoint an ombudsman to fact check MSM reporting and political discourse, will rebuild our NHS and cut waiting times for ops and appointments, will tackle climate change with renewable energy policies, will clean up our waters, will cut processing time for asylum seekers, will open up LEGAL routes and stamp on racism, will bring back grants for higher education, will consider legislation to regulate the AI revolution, will bring down inflation and redistribute wealth through fair taxation and helping productivity, will implement a welfare system that eliminates the need for food banks, will take care of the vulnerable, will rebuild trade relations with Europe and isn’t a hypocritical arsehole.
Anyone? 🤷🏾♂️
