If RWAs bridge TradFi and DeFi, then PayFi is the highway.
After #PayFiSummit by @SolanaFndn & @HumaFinance, I’m reassured: this will be one of the most robust sectors in crypto — solving real pains in real world.
As @circle SVP of Product, Irfan Ganchi, showed, stablecoins are now deeply embedded in payment infra worldwide. And in HK — one of world's largest financial corridor — this feels very real.
@DrPayFi, founder of Huma, brought it to the micro level: SMEs are hungry for PayFi’s T+0 solution.
Faster cash flow is no longer a “nice-to-have,” it’s survival. 🧵👇

Right after #ragasatyphoon swept the city, the classroom was packed — students who’ve been working in banks & funds for years, ready to dive into #RWA
Honestly, I never see myself flexing in front of these experts in TradFi. For me, it’s a valuable opportunity to help shape the next-gen financial paradigm and play a small role in closing the knowledge gap between TradFi & Web3.
Shared some of my own observations & milestones:

The course itself is truly impressive — covering blockchain fundamentals, RWA case studies, and related compliance in a way that gives the full picture.
Worth noting that if you’re HK resident, gov even offers up to 70% tuition rebate!!
The biggest non-bank real estate loan facilitator @Figure powered by @provenancefdn chain just listed on Nasdaq. This validates my thought that financing innovation is the real breakthrough in real estate RWAs, because it reshapes the TradFi ecosystem at its core -- getting your $100K+ mortgage loan within 5 days & without any cumbersome in-person process.
What's next? I believe @NUVAFinance (backed by @animocabrands & @provlabs) is set to unlock permissionless access to assets like HELOC & DSCR loans — bridging lenders and borrowers in ways TradFi never could.
With @Moca_Network & @zkme_ building the ID rails to safeguard the ecosystem and streamline onboarding, the path is becoming clearer.
The next battleground for real estate RWAs is how we truly leverage DeFi, so stop tokenizing for the sake of tokenizing.
