I am sorry to announce that I have lost my appeal against Stonewall in the Court of Appeal.

Judgment was handed down this morning (18 December 2025). A link to the judgment will be posted shortly.

Certain aspects of the judgment and its reasoning are surprising and very concerning. I will need to review it in detail with my legal team before saying more. I intend to share an update, including next steps, after the Christmas break.

In the meantime, please don’t lose heart. I certainly haven’t. I remain profoundly grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement so many of you have shown me over the past six years in my pursuit of justice.

🔴 “Gaza Needs Mobile Homes Now”: Aid Coordinator Warns Children Will Drown Without Shelter

Gaza NGO coordinator Eyad Amawi urges mobile homes and caravans to enter Gaza without delay as storms flood displacement camps and families wade through sewage and mud. “If Gaza flooded six times during the first phase of the ceasefire, that means we will drown dozens of times in the second phase while Gaza has no shelter at all,” Amawi says, warning that children will die from cold and exposure.

More than 1.3 million displaced Palestinians urgently need shelter, according to UNRWA, which says supplies for that population are sitting just outside Gaza, blocked by Israel. The UN reports shelter materials have reached around 4,000 families in recent days—only a fraction of what’s needed.

Oxfam says this is not a failure of “preparedness or capacity” but the direct result of “systematic obstruction.” By blocking basic shelter materials, fuel, and water infrastructure, Israel is turning predictable storms into deadly events. “This suffering is being manufactured by policy, not weather.”
