@scbadger Like I said, I don't know the story regarding letting the oppo know, so I'm not condoning anything there. I just wouldn't ruin a weekend for Div 9 players (juniors mainly) by making them play 4 divs higher when it's not their fault.

@scbadger @EPCC1860 @findoncc @SussexCricketLg If all the 1st XI were unavailable for a wedding or festival or something, you wouldn't punish the 'available' 2nd XI players by making them play 4 divisions too high. They have played 11 legitimate 2nd XI players. I don't know the story regarding letting the opposition know 🤷‍♂️.
