Rebocap is an IMU, outputting 3DoF data.
I've noticed people often use the abbreviation "IMU" to refer to 3DoF devices, but they overlook the actual working principle involved.
This can lead to misunderstandings — they are two different terms.
Vive Tracker contains an IMU used to verify whether the device is physically moving.
Combined with optical ranging, it obtains XYZ movement, and since the base stations are fixed, it can get real‑world coordinates.
Mocopi relies on the IMU's accelerometer + gravity angle to calculate movement.
It controls the skeleton system's hands and feet for XYZ movement like pressing WASD on a keyboard, but it has no reference point to get real‑world coordinates.
Therefore: XYZ rotation + XYZ movement = 6DoF.
@MedeyahVT It's probably just that the certificate renewal was forgotten.
Around this time last year, the document server was migrated. I've already asked someone to check it, and it should be renewed by tomorrow.
