Sony’s plan to stop releasing new PlayStation games on discs from January 2028 is getting a lot of backlash.

A Dutch consumer group says going fully digital would give Sony much more control over game prices.

Without physical copies, players wouldn’t be able to shop around for better deals, buy second-hand games, or sell games after finishing them.
