🐾 Hier encore …
Alors pourquoi cet abandon ?
Sans doute une personne qui ne
Pouvait pas assumer plusieurs chats.
Je vais le répèter encore et encore..
Quand vous adoptez un animal , penser
D’abord :
HOLY SHIT — how did I not read about this month's ago!!!
On January 16, 2026, @SocialSecurity and @TheJusticeDept filed a “Notice of Corrections to the Record” to the Court regarding the case American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, et al. v. Social Security Administration, et al., No. 1:25-cv-00596 (D. Md.).
In Section V (“Scope of SSA DOGE Team’s Work”), it states that in March 2025 a political advocacy group [unnamed in the filing] contacted two SSA DOGE team members “with a request to analyze state voter rolls that the advocacy group had acquired. The advocacy group’s stated aim was to find evidence of voter fraud AND TO OVERTURN ELECTION RESULTS IN CERTAIN STATES.” [Emphasis My Own]
One DOGE team member, acting in his SSA capacity, signed a “Voter Data Agreement” with the group and sent the executed agreement on March 24, 2025. A footnote in the filing notes that emails suggested DOGE members “could have been asked to assist the advocacy group by accessing SSA data to match to the voter rolls,” though SSA said it had not seen evidence that SSA data was actually shared.
DOGE, under @elonmusk, wasn't just looking for "waste, fraud, and abuse," they were looking for ways to steal future elections and keep the @GOP@Republicans in power by accessing our personal information and State voter rolls.
Trump Admin hires private equity guy at DOD. Months later, guy's former employer gets a $281 million *no bid* contract to consult for him. Pro Publica is running circles around every other news outlet when it comes to chronicling the obscene level of corruption going on right now
What happened today was a blitzkrieg on a public park. A cherished DMV space. If you are not livid about the circumstances that led up to this and what exactly the Federal government did in the past 24 hours I don’t know what to tell you.
Let’s do a quick timeline:
1. Last night, a Friday before a long weekend, at 5PM, government lawyers filed a notice that tree cutting would begin in earnest today. The stated reason was a pretext - apparently fulfilling a 2019 Cultural Landscape Review on East Potomac. This was clearly an excuse to bring the gangs in.
For months the government has stated there is no plan, nothing has been decided, going to follow the law. Ya, right.
2. At 5:30AM this morning, 3-4 dozen workers assembled at East Potomac Park. The blitzkrieg began shortly thereafter. They were given clear orders to fell as many trees as possible.
3. For hours, from 6AM until 4PM today, nothing but chainsaws. Healthy trees, old trees, all would come down. No clear estimate for the extent but at least 100 trees came down.
The devastation is apparent. Entire groves cleared. Not a single animal on the peninsula. Not a sound aside from the roar of chainsaws. Earth ripped to pieces.
Anybody that thinks it is acceptable to shred public lands to appeal to the vanity of the President of the United States needs their head examined.
We have been sounding the alarm on this for months. For months we knew this day would come. Where the President would, under dubious legal pretexts, sic his goons on a beloved public space.
This is not a local issue. This is fundamentally a question of if we the people own our public lands or the temporary resident of the White House does.

Despite ongoing lawsuit seeking to stop Trump overhaul of DC's East Potomac Park, the National Park Service has notified the court that it's going to take down nearly 530 trees at the site
Team Trump is pursuing plan to redevelop the golf course on site
Every second…yes, SECOND, not day…that passes, I become more and more convinced that Trump had one primary task: to weaken the United States of America and make it as vulnerable as humanly possible.
There’s been evidence to support that theory for a long, long time.
In my not so humble opinion, I think we moved past it being a theory…years ago.
National Park Service about to chop down up to 529 trees from municipal golf course Trump trying to take over telling federal judge they don’t contribute to the “historic landscape” - no arborist could possibly have said that. Or anyone who’s visited that park along the Potomac
How is this fucking legal!!!!!
"Something stinks.
Astoria is one of my favorites on the Oregon coast, a small town of around 9,000 people with great restaurants and crafts shops.
Two of them, a coffee shop and ceramics studio, are owned by a small businessperson, Audrey Long, who’s mailed herself five postcards since August to test the mail.
The results have been grim, particularly since Oregon is a 100% vote-by-mail state.
So far, only two of the postcards have arrived, and the first one took more than a month (and Oregon doesn’t even send out ballots until next Wednesday).
Across the street from one of her shops the town’s City Hall isn’t getting its mail reliably, either, and the same is true for the tenants of a 40-unit apartment building next door, according to reporting by Oregon Public Broadcasting.
Oregon Senator @SenJeffMerkley is looking into it, his office telling OPB’s reporter, “The timing of these issues is especially concerning.”
Raw Story’s Alexandria Jacobson reports that nearly 1,000 armed private security guards have been deployed to at least 55 postal facilities in places with lots of Democrats like Atlanta, Phoenix, Denver, and Chicago.
Instead of using the Post Office’s own police force, Trump’s people have hired Prosegur, a Spanish multinational armed mercenary force that Norway’s sovereign wealth fund blacklisted in 2024 over what its ethics council called “an unacceptable risk that the company is contributing to serious human rights abuses.”
The company’s also been accused of intimidating union organizers across Latin America, which may be why Frank Albergo of the Postal Police Officers Association worries out loud that nobody from the Postal Service seems to be supervising them. He described the result as “private contractors in and around ballots without any federal control.”
In other words, we’re already partway there: armed men who answer to a foreign contractor and Trump instead of to the public, with no transparency and no clear reason for their being there, are overseeing the buildings our ballots pass through this month."

🚨 On Monday, Indigenous Peoples' Day, thousands of saguaros the Tohono O'odham consider people will be ripped out of the ground, for not one wall, but two.
The saguaros are called ha:şañ. Removing one isn't just destroying a plant, it's considered an act of violence against a person.
The Nation was only notified Friday.
The Nation filed an emergency injunction with the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals this week trying to stop it. Removing a saguaro without a permit is illegal. DHS is moving forward anyway, citing a border emergency to bypass that requirement.
Chairman Verlon Jose put it plainly: "Trespassing on our land to remove the sacred saguaros is like having masked men break into your house and take away your children.”
But here's what you can do today. There's a way to speak up on this exact project. It's in the first reply.

BREAKING: KNOCKOUT PUNCH! Sen. Jon Ossoff wipes the floor with his MAGA opponent during their debate with one of the most brutal soundbites ever.
Republican Mike Collins should have just stayed home...
"Georgia has voter ID, and that's good. Mike Collins and Donald Trump, they're still obsessed with overturning the 2020 election," Ossoff said in response to a question about voting rules. "Mike Collins still believes the 2020 election was stolen.
"Mike Collins has supported Donald Trump's effort to overturn the election, and he wants to give your tax dollars to the violent thugs and criminals who sacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6th," he continued. "Mike Collins is attacking your voting rights, but that's not a surprise when you consider who Mike Collins is..."
"This is a man who cheered on a group of young men who were mocking a black woman on a college campus with monkey sounds," said Ossoff.
And then came the haymaker, a takedown that's already spreading like wildfire on social media—
"If John Lewis were marching today from Selma to Montgomery, Mike Collins would be grabbing a billy club," said Ossoff. "His office has been in cahoots with some of the most notorious white supremacists in the country. He himself has amplified neo-Nazi propaganda. He's never apologized for it, and he should tonight."
Not surprisingly, Mike Collins did not apologize on stage. He's a MAGA Republican, which means, just like his cult leader Donald Trump, he's pathologically incapable of admitting when he was wrong or when he did something immoral.
And that wasn't Ossoff's only standout moment of the night. The senator is one of the best orators that the Democratic Party has seen in decades, which is why there are already calls for him to run for President one day.
"First of all, no Georgia family or small business should pay a dime more to subsidize the energy consumption of these data centers," Ossoff said. "No local community should have these data centers imposed on them. But that same budget bill we've been discussing all night, the one that slashed Medicaid, the one that doubled your health insurance premiums, it also gave $70 billion of your money to data center developers."
"Just think about this, when you are paying more for your health insurance, when a hospital in your community is closing down, Mike Collins voted to take that money out of your pocket and out of your community and give it instead to data center developers," he continued.
"And that's the problem, Mike. It's not just that you've hired half the Third Reich to staff your congressional office and you have promoted neo-Nazi content online," said Ossoff. "It's that you're robbing your constituents to subsidize your donors."
Collins has come under repeated fire for the neo-Nazis in his orbit. His former congressional intern posted swastikas and KKK imagery, his former chief of staff communicated with prominent white nationalists, his son-in-law shared pro-Nazi and antisemitic content, and two campaign organizers previously held leadership positions in a group founded by an ex-KKK leader.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
Please ❤️ and share if you'd vote for Jon Ossoff!
Peace never comes through weakness. Today, representatives of the U.S. Congress were in Kyiv – a bipartisan delegation – and I am grateful to them for visiting Ukraine at such a difficult time. They asked: what is needed to end the war? The answer must be strong. There must be sanctions under the Lindsey Graham bill, there must be support for Ukraine in protecting lives, and there must be pressure on Russia for its war. And today, there was a conversation between the leaders of America and Russia. A conversation that leads to something different.
Recently, there was a European decision to lift sanctions on Russian oligarchs. Since then, Russian strikes and the torment of people have only increased. This past week alone, there was a brutal Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk – on ordinary city buses – and there have been constant attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure and on the life-sustaining infrastructure in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and our other cities. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds wounded.
The Russians are compensating for their inability to achieve their objectives on the battlefield with this kind of terror. This year, Russia is weaker on the battlefield than at any other point in the war. That is why Putin is relying on terror. That is why he is relying on attempts to strike backroom deals to secure some form of pressure relief for Russia, in order to buy more time and more opportunities for war.
Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness. It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world.
Ukraine is ready to take symmetrical de-escalatory steps, and the American team knows our position. Our strikes on Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities are a response to Russia’s years-long campaign of terror against Ukraine’s energy sector. Ukraine will not set Russian oil refineries on fire if Russia does not destroy our energy infrastructure. This is the kind of agreement we are proposing to America, and we believe the United States has enough power to achieve such a compromise.
Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Russia will “repay” the diesel with further terror and perfidy. Allowing Russia to sell petroleum products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged. What is needed is real de-escalation with Russia on a reciprocal basis.
We count on America’s fair support for our defense of life, for our defense of people in Ukraine – and on the United States having a correspondingly strong conversation with Russia. A strong one, not a weak one.
ABC's reporting on Palmer Luckey by @bynathanlee was incorrect in that it stated a $6.6 billion taxpayer-funded Pentagon contract award when it was actually $3.7 billion of Anduril’s own private corporate capital investment alongside up to $2.9 billion in contingent Navy purchase options. But this isn't over. Theirs was bad reporting but Palmer still has a target on his back put there by the admin. He's being used and it's not good for Anduril.
In public comments and interviews regarding his role at 1789 Capital, Donald Trump Jr. acknowledged his active involvement in shaping administration policy and screening Pentagon leadership:
On Policy & Messaging: He stated that at his investment firm, 1789 Capital, "[W]e understand what the administration wants to do, because we helped craft some of that messaging..."
On Vetting DoD Personnel: He acknowledged having direct influence over picks for Pentagon personnel, noting that he actively looked "for candidates who wanted to spend more on drones." (Seriously, WTF. Of course they're going to investigate. These people are idiots)
Why This Is So Dangerous for Anduril & Palmer Luckey?
Don Jr.’s admission converted what could have been dismissed as standard venture investing into an explicit, investigable policy-monetization loop:
1. Formally Documented Evidence: Because Don Jr. boasted publicly about setting policy messaging and picking DoD candidates who favored his fund's core sector, Senate oversight committees placed those quotes directly into the congressional record as prime evidence of potential self-dealing.
2. The Financial-Incidence Mechanism: House and Senate investigators do not need to prove that Palmer Luckey or Anduril asked Don Jr. to do this. The fact that Don Jr. helped select leadership and craft policy that directly inflates Anduril's valuation marks ($61B) provides Congress with a complete, logical "benefit theory".
3. Subpoena Exposure: This single link gives oversight committees statutory justification to request cap table details, 1789 communications, and contract allocation records across Anduril’s portfolio, generating the pre-IPO regulatory overhang regardless of Anduril's individual intent.
And the admin has fully exposed Palmer:
-> Hegseth placed him in a strategic advisory process without publicly visible conflict controls.
-> Emil’s investment and recusal record makes that process more vulnerable.
-> Don Jr.’s economic exposure gives investigators a readily understandable benefit theory.
-> Erebor’s political-access representations and possible federal-loan advisory revenue create a second financial channel.
-> Arsenal-2 then places an enormous, technically ambitious Navy commitment beside those unresolved relationships.
So I would not characterize Palmer as merely a victim. He accepted these relationships and roles. But the immediate threat to Anduril is increasingly the administration’s failure to separate public authority, political access, private investment, strategic advice, and federal financing. We are currently modeling the valuation overhang and counterparty risk created by these overlapping vectors. It's going to take a bit of time. But at this point, the admin and especially the leadership at the DoD are off the rails and our military deserves better. Palmer would be wise to to keep a safe distance. His current cronies will be gone soon enough and he must be able to work and succeed in any political environment. cc @streetwiseprof
This is absolutely wild per Status — ABC News completely retracted this story like two days ago just totally nuked it. No note, no explanation , no comment. It had been shared by tons of top lawmakers and democratic officials.
"'Guilfoyle was drinking at four in the morning, she called her security detail, Vasili, a grandfather, who was sleeping obviously, and did not respond. Next day, she demoted him.' Her alleged early morning request? To fetch more ice cubes." https://t.co/tcPSk1x9by
So…
The Kimberly Guilfoyle story.
The Don Jr. wedding party.
Noem’s DHS contracts.
Lewandowski’s deals.
The Reflecting Pool contract.
The kind of corruption we see in third-world countries. And absolutely no shame whatsoever.
And why? Because these people seem to believe that when accountability finally comes knocking, all they have to do is blame Democrats, cry “political witch hunt,” and get a pardon.
They watched Trump use that playbook and get away with it. Now they seem convinced they can, too.
