@girlslug I feel you completely, it’s what will make you flourish in your profession. I stay outside the hospital for about an hour after my shift and have ciggies and go over what’s happened, acknowledge the feelings, then go home and leave it where my cigarette ends are

@girlslug I remember I saw a patient who was young who was only able to be treated for symptoms and not the cancer itself and their family was around and it was an unbearable thing to witness, to carry on with your life when someone else cant is brutal
