Mr Moorhouse caused a commotion in Reception at the end of the day. He read 'Peach at Last' which was a lovely calm story but then he read a second story called 'Mrs Vickers' Favourite Knickers'. Mrs Bowman despaired!!! Reception found it very funny. 😆#StSavEng

Reception have had a Sir David Attenborough themed day today in celebration of his 100th birthday. They watched a live assembly and then they were looking closely at our caterpillars. It prompted some great drawings. #StSavSci #SirDavidAttenborough 2:2

Last week we received the exciting news that the Reception class entry for the 'Get Set for Positive Energy Winter Olympics' competition had been selected as a runner up. This means that the school are going to receive a £500 eco grant. Well done Reception #StSavSci #StSavPE

What an exciting morning. Margot's Daddy came with his friends + their fire engine. They turned Mrs Hulton into a fireman + then let the children have a go with the hose pipe. The class finished by singing happy birthday to Margot's daddy and gave him a card. Thank you so much.

Reception moved from footballs last week to tennis balls this week. It was a bit trickier to catch the smaller balls. They started with rolling and progressed to catching. #StSavPE
