More interested in the merits of issues than tribal politics and not a rusted on supporter of any political party. If this bothers you please don’t follow. 🙂
.@AlboMP and @JEChalmers You just need to look at Norway’s massive sovereign wealth fund and the services that it pays for to support ordinary Norwegians to see that the fossil fuel sector isn’t making a fair contribution in Australia on any reasonable view #auspol#budget2026 💰
The focus on @AlboMP’s ill considered podcast appearance has been on his hand gestures, and what they conveyed.
But it’s unarguable that our PM raised the Japanese PM’s gift after being asked about the ‘most crap gift’ he had received.
That was appalling judgement. 👎
#auspol
.@BenCarrollMP I had hoped you would have the moral conviction to end the mindless slaughter in Victoria’s wetlands.
Seeing you effectively wash your hands of the issue on #abcnews tonight is beyond disappointing. Hopefully you reconsider your position.👎

The fallacy behind your tweet is that if media must ipso facto be considered biased by reason of its source of funding then it would follow that commercial media must be biased as well.
But you are being selective about who you describe as independent.
If #OneNation wants to be taken seriously as a political party then it should welcome independent scrutiny of its policies and candidates. The fact that it excludes independent media from news conferences speaks volumes and should alarm all thinking Australians.
#auspol#abcnews
@awakened_mullet Given your profile picture re social justice it’s surprising that you seek to characterise the public broadcaster as ‘state media’, while at the same time seeking to characterise those commercial broadcasters who were allowed to attend as ‘independent’.
The so-called #OneNation political party would (amongst other things) wreck our economy, jeopardise national security and turn Australia into an international pariah.
But are those flirting with the idea of voting for them too obtuse to notice?

.@JacintaAllanMP#Labor has been in office for a long time and the technology that allows people to use iPhones to access public transport has existed for many years. It’s pathetic to pretend it’s a breakthrough that they can eventually be used on our local trains! 🙄 #springst
while the politics of the so-called #OneNation and the 2026 #LNP appal us, the reality is that your significant change of position (despite earlier promises) will make it very difficult to trust you in the future. Maybe you don’t care, but that’s the fact … 2/2
#auspol#abc730
.@AlboMP and @JEChalmers My wife and I retired recently and supported #Labor at the last election despite the foreshadowed superannuation changes impacting us.
At the most basic level we trusted your promises that you would only implement the changes that you campaigned on.

@BevFloyd10 Putting it as neutrally as I can Bev there is a major tension between what the science says needs to be done to address the climate crisis and the continuing approval of new fossil fuel projects by both Labor and the Coalition. Labor is just slightly less bad in this respect …
One Nation volunteer Allan Beale shared misinformation about Dezi Freeman, defended neo-Nazis
(And Hanson refused to condemn this despicable behaviour. Those who are flirting with the idea voting for this appalling party need to wake up! #auspol 🤠🤡👎)
https://t.co/CfgZ48biwH
Look who’s funding this unsatisfactory political party.
Yet there will no doubt still be some voters who are obtuse enough to think that the party’s raison d’être is to stand up for ordinary Australians. 🙄

.@DanTehanWannon Re your @abc730 interview:
1. You were fortunate to hold off @VoicesofWannon at the last election, largely due to an outrageous scare campaign.
2. Since then the #LNP has been a chaotic embarrassment.
3. You will be very lucky to retain #Wannon.

Cities aren’t safe from the next firestorm
(As this article notes fossil fuel companies are making billions while forcing the community to pay the true costs of their climate wrecking activities🔥 #auspol#springst@AlboMP@JacintaAllanMP)

It would be nice to think that @Alcoa will finally do the right thing and complete the job by removing the ugly and much hated smoke stack from its redundant #Anglesea coal plant. @DanTehanWannon @r_riordanmp @SenSHenderson https://t.co/SBMK9FepsU
The Victorian government deserves a pat on the back for delivering the apology and treaty @JacintaAllanMP and @NatHutchins.
However the government has dropped the ball badly on the critical issue of caring for country.
Here in Wadawurrung country volunteers work with 1/4
unique and irreplaceable flora, fauna and ecosystems. It’s completely counterproductive and frankly stupid to be making Parks staff redundant in circumstances where there is a pressing need for more rather than less staff. Please ensure that Parks Victoria is properly funded 3/4
