20% Transfered to DII
2% Transfered to DIII

✅ DII Softball Transfer Portal:
Only 38% TRANSFERRED
60% still active in the portal (!!)
2% withdrew

→ Of successful DII Transfers:
59% stayed DII
18% jumped to DI (aided or unaided)
12% → DIII
👉 Most DII-to-DII transfers were already on aid (45%)

DIII, NAIA & JUCO paths are rare + underreported.

If you’re starting at DIII, NAIA, or JUCO, your odds of a successful transfer are likely even smaller than DII’s 38%.

@AlysssaMoreno @_coachrachel No, there’s not. There’s 1 portal- the NCAA portal. You’re really not helping the case for bringing credibility to the NAIA.

D1 players frequently trickle down to the NAIA because the level is good. But to say that NAIA players frequently jump up to D1 is ignorance.

We had a great spring break trip playing 4 quality teams in the Cincinnati area. We went 2-2 with both loses being by 1 run to Anthony Wayne and Mason. The two wins were against Centerville and Mount Notre Dame. We are going to build on this trip as we start conference play this week. I did well on offense, defense and running the bases. Hit some balls hard that were right at them, but that’s the name of the game. Batted .333 scoring 3 runs. Back to work to get ready for the start of conference play.
