So sad to hear the news of Ned Jarrett’s passing. You can’t compare the greats of NASCAR without talking about him. He ranks as one of the Greats! But more than that, he was one of the greatest men I ever knew.
My prayers and love to my friends Patti, Glenn and Dale.
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
So deserving. I’ve never met a finer man than Eddie Hill. And I bet anyone who has ever worked a baseball camp would agree, he’s a machine! Congrats stud!
According to @jcshurburtt on @GamecocksShow he said that he feels a resolution to this search leans towards tomorrow not that it will be 100% over tomorrow but it will be pushed to be. This does not mean that the hire will be announced publicly. He also said he does not think Kevin Schnall is the first one offered.

As much as I love words, there simply aren’t adequate ones to express how much I love this guy and the fact that he has put up with me for 21 years. ❤️ @JeffHopkins62
In other Gamecock baseball news, South Carolina LHP Jake McCoy is back to throwing during his rehab process, per his Instagram story from earlier today.

Love him or hate him, I think it would be nice to honor Coach Holtz with an on field stencil this football season.
(Tanneyhill should get a helmet sticker as well.)
NEW: Class of 2027 4⭐️ Safety Kennedy Green has announced his Top-3 schools with a decision date, and South Carolina is one of them! 🐔🐔
