@betJACK I don't see how this helps the Cavs at all. Beef Stew couldn't get on the floor in the playoffs and, when he did, the other team usually went on an immediate run.
Strus obv helps DET.
How does this benefit CLE in any way?
@WembyAlienEra I'd really like to keep this dude completely away from all of my teams: Cavs, Browns, Guards.
Like, if you are a Klutch client, we aren't drafting you or signing you. Probably isn't realistic because they're a big agency, but Rich Paul is always jacking w/chemistry BTS.
@liter_a_cola@rhas202 Is that where you landed?
Because I left the season feeling like Donovan is the guy who is very difficult to build around. DG worked great with him offensively, didn't work on defense.
Harden fixed the size issue, opened up completely different problems.
@ahmad_dahman In lieu of a QB, all you can do is shape the rest of the roster. I wouldn't say SEA has had an elite QB situation since prime Russ, but they've won by loading up everywhere else.
That has to be the model & then hope to catch lightning in a bottle.
Pretty pleased so far.
@AuthorHorror@jacks_onS@AustinAbbott Verse can be a great player and still not be close to Myles Garrett. You're comparing a guy with maybe an All-Pro ceiling to a guy who might be the best pass rusher to ever live.
Not that hard to grasp. The Rams probably don't trade Verse for literally anyone else on earth.
@jac041899@Tjonesonthenba See, but that never happened. It is a popular myth and I'm not sure why it persists. Hickson was on the table. PHX declined the offer.

@osuzack What KD did was a joke for TWO franchises. Obviously OKC.
But the Cavs finally get over the hump, win a title, set up well to defend it with an even better team in 2017, and then...
That should have been an epic battle between CLE, OKC & GSW.
KD made it a joke. Never forget.
@Cedrooney1@Tjonesonthenba When did Ray Allen want to come to the Cavs? I recall him being the most coveted free agent in the league in 2005. He decided to stay in SEA.
The top two names on the Cavs list that offseason were Ray Allen and Michael Redd iirc.
Had to settle for Larry Hughes.
?
@32ppg@titansvolsfan22@TheDunkCentral@ajstilestv@sam_amick I'm not saying they should trade for him. And as a Cavs fan, I don't want them to trade for him because I want him to stay in CLE.
I'm just telling you why. Evan's jumper looks smooth enough to where it could still become a weapon.
That's the other thing -- he's 24yo.
@KevOnPoint@titansvolsfan22@ThE1nOnLyMaTtP@TheDunkCentral@ajstilestv@sam_amick I'd argue the biggest thing Mobley has over Chet is his ability to serve as a hub, which would be hugely valuable if the Cavs just committed to tapping into it.
Evan averaged 3.9 assists per game in the playoffs w/basically the whole team in a slump. Should have been 5-6apg.
@Hollywood__Jo@BigTenTone@Tjonesonthenba I don't think anyone believes the Cavs versions of Shaq or Wallace were still great pieces. If anything, the opinion is that they were completely useless, which they weren't that either.
Shaq was coming off a great yr in PHX. But we never saw that guy in CLE sadly. Glimpses.
@Dirk_Triggler@JamboDro@Tjonesonthenba I said he was threatening to leave, which he was -- and he ultimately did. I didn't say he said it out loud. He didn't need to.
Jesus, people. What, you need a quote to believe that something is true?
@BigTenTone@Tjonesonthenba It was also a different time.
Today, it's easy to look at a team of Mo Williams, Big Z, Hughes, etc. & laugh. Teams weren't as talented in general back then & those teams won because LeBron was insanely awesome AND they were elite defense/rebounding teams.
@RyanT89@Tjonesonthenba It's funny, because it has been long enough that I forgot how emotionally ppl get over this. I wasn't even giving Lebron shit for it. To me, it's just a fact.
He kept pressure on the org & when the foundation seemed too hollow, he left (twice). That was his right.
@Dirk_Triggler@JamboDro@Tjonesonthenba Where in my post did I say he verbally threatened to leave? The threat was always implicit with LeBron, always has been.
I'm not even criticizing him for doing it fwiw. Just stating a fact.
He never verbally threatened to leave in 2010 either -- or in 2018.
...he just left.
