@IanFPSx@tomwarren I have a 4070 and an i7-12700F and have been running it on Ultra 1080p pretty well. It’s crashed 2x at unexpected times but even in the most intense fights it holds pretty steady. I’ve seen people with better specs get worse results and crashing all the time. It’s weird.
@SynthPotato One issue I just ran into is the “unattached ship module” error in the ship builder. I could not for the life of me figure out what was unnattached. It should highlight or just tell you which module is unattached. I got so frustrated I just quit the builder lol
@naomiseibt@zaynetrevor@InternetH0F The term homosexual was created by Germans in 1862 and wasn’t in any bible translation until 1946 when it appeared in RSV. In fact it was found that in Lev 18:22 in a German bible from the 1800s, it was actually referring to men not lying with young boys as the abomination.
@TheWashedDad@RichyNineNine @BinksMagnus @LukasKoelz Mmm yes, a screenshot from a trailer from an un-finished game is definitely a fair comparison. Lmao
@OrthoKanye @MldGhost The game will procedurally generate points of interest when you land on a planet, so there will always be stuff to do besides look at rocks and trees. And you know what? You probably don’t need to visit barren planets if you don’t want to :)
@Dry417@DEZETASIETE@RWSstudios Plenty of AAA studios are still using modified versions of old engines. CoD’s engine is still a heavily modified version of id Tech 3 which was used for Quake III Arena from 1999.
@quietstation27 @WhistfulP@DJSlackin@a_bardugo Fair point - thanks for the info. I forget that a lot of games nowadays offer performance and fidelity modes. Seems like it would have made sense with Starfield.
@WhistfulP@DJSlackin @quietstation27 @a_bardugo Advertised 60fps as standard and 120fps as target. Obviously, it’s up to devs to do what they see fit and Bethesda chose graphic fidelity over frame rate, which I don’t think is a bad thing 🤷🏻♂️
@shinobi602 What's a Bethesda game without a few bugs? Lol. I just hope there won't be any game-breaking bugs. We also have modders to fix anything Bethesda can't/won't, so I'm not honestly too worried.
