Scheduled to launch #OTD in 1965, the Gemini VI-A launch was aborted 1 sec. after engine ignition Schirra made the split-second decision not to activate the ejection seats noting "I knew we hadn't gone anywhere." It turned out an electrical umbilical had separated prematurely causing the erroneous liftoff signal.

People keep looking at the landing legs compared to Falcon 9 and saying they're too small. But if you measure it and account for F9 using 4 legs vs NG using 6 it turns out the actual base size is almost the same for both rockets. Maybe slightly bigger for NG.
Of course NG is taller.

Maximalism is the enemy of the industry’s progress. Glad to see POTUS recognizing we live in a multichain world and that we’re finally moving past Bill Hinman and the Biden administration's SEC’s very broken thinking.
