@_Qstormrider “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
How many times does this quote need to be put under this clown's press briefings....
@bunjavascript Why don't you offer something helpful to the community instead of trying to get people over to your platform. seems like a shitty time to start marketing. my two cents.
@rauchg@v0@xai Video and Image generation were super novel when they first came out. I remember spending hours on midjourney. Now, I don't really know what purpose they serve. But everybody has one!
If you just take the candidate’s submission at face value and don’t dig into it with them and have them walk you through their decisions and explain it and do some live coding, well then yes. But I try to do the aforementioned. I seem to get more out of that, then tell me the answer to this question.
And to be honest, if you, as an interviewer, have to use a tool to generate questions to ask an interviewee, maybe you shouldn't be interviewing. lol. I have a couple sample repos with specific projects, and I give them to potential hires. I ask them to complete the task(s), and then we walk through the code together. That has effectively stripped the people who can't code. And I don't need a subscription to a service or another developer telling me what to ask people.
@neetcode1 Honestly it should die. Leet code and that style of interviewing is not a very accurate way to measure a developer's skills. It is a good way to see if they've memorized the answers!
I hate what I’ve become. Every moment an agent isn’t running feels kind of wasted.
I kick jobs off before showering. I run Ralph loops in my sleep. I start a long plan mode session while I wait for my food to cook.
All this and I haven’t shipped shit lol
@boshen_c I have Ecosystem tool fatigue. My God, we just got to Biome, like do we need another one of these? LOL, like how many milliseconds do you need to save?
@rauchg If you have an existing project and rename it, both the newly named project and the old invalid project stay visible in the drop-down menu until a refresh. I really like the new layout to be honest! Great work.
