When it comes to Chris's innermost circle/family, it includes Claire, Jill and Barry. Claire is obvious, Jill is his long-time partne/friend. Barry is a father-like figure but unfortunately they haven't shown it onscreen.

@N7Valentine91 I think it's an emotional story arc that feels organic and not forced. The search for Jill was a storyline that I enjoyed just as much as Chris's story with Wesker.

Well, there's hope a remake of RE5 can change that story which I wouldn't mind.
