I've long believed that Islam is an ideology that gives license to the worst manifestations of human nature.
A "religion" that treats what is evil as good. Jesus wants us to deny our sinful nature.
Islam embraces the sinful nature of man and calls it 'godly'.
You decide.
@TopazBlue100@robbystarbuck No. What is infuriating is when people disagree with your conclusions, then your side goes straight to ad hominem attacks and accusations of being sold out to Israel.
One is disagreement.
The other is just narcissistic attacks.
I never really post about Candace, because she's not worth my time. However, I always had a funny feeling about her. When she and others started down the Jew-hate route, I knew my instinct was correct.
Be discerning, friends. God will reveal who they truly are inside.
@GeeksGamersCom YES! I've been saying that weak and pathetic people need a hero to "look like them". Their heroic qualities were what we boys loved. That's what we wanted to be like. We didn't care how they looked. They were just cool doing it.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Distinct in form, not substance. The Holy Spirit is also a distinct entity, yet still the same substance: God. Your arguments are nothing new. Muslims make these arguments all the time. So do atheists. Yet they never hold water. You show nothing new.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti No, it's because you're unable to actually understand the Bible. I hear what you're saying. But what you're saying is nonsense.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Yes, Jesus was fully human. Again, you're not saying anything novel here. You're using that to prove he was not God. I already showed you thy Scriptures and you CHOOSE to not listen. Go find somebody else to peddle your foolish arguments.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Jesus was God in human form. Distinct in form, not substance. This has been talked about going back millenia. You're not making any new arguments.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Wait, so God cannot enter the universe? The Creator of the universe cannot do as He's pleases?
You sound just like the Pharisees.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Wow. None of those are saying that He wasn't God. Seriously, you are really bad at this. The Pharisees reaction is part of the Gospel narrative. For you to tell people to ignore it means you're telling people to ignore God's word.
You just keep embarrassing yourself.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti You can't even interpret the Scriptures correctly. God did give you a brain. I'm using it. Apparently, you have abandoned its use and settled for ad hominem attacks because you can't engage in sound exegesis. Physician, heal thyself.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti The Pharisees reaction is paramount and it's extremely telling that you disregard it. Exegesis requires that we examine it how they would have. They reacted that way because of his claim. You arguing that it doesn't matter how they reacted shows you disregard unfavorable facts.
@pennycalz@EricSpracklen And so what? That's proof?
What kind of idiot takes one of someone laughing and claims conspiracy to assassination?
You do. That's who.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Wrong again.
How about John 10:30, where Jesus says he and the Father are one?
A few verses later, the Pharisees try to stone him, saying that he is claiming himself to be God (John 10:33).
Just two sections of the NT showing you how wrong you are. Jesus claimed to be God.
@PierceKnight4@ryanvisconti Jesus said to them, โI tell you the solemn truth, before Abraham came into existence, I am!โ - John 8:58
That's it right there. That was Jesus saying he was God. And if the Pharisees thought he was saying it, that is more convincing than your weak argument.
