Another horse has died at Aintree – how many more?
"The tragic death of Willy De Houelle, the sixty-sixth horse to die at the Aintree Festival since 2000, illustrates why we need a new, independent regulator that has horse welfare as its number one priority." – Emma Slawinski, CEO.
It’s time to replace the British Horse Racing Authority, ban the whip, and put an end to horses being sacrificed for profit and entertainment.
We’re calling on the public to boycott the Aintree Festival – don’t attend, don’t bet, and don’t tune in to ITV’s coverage. It’s time to put horse welfare first.

Crufts Billed as the greatest dog show on earth. What would have been truly great is if they had switched their emphasis from showing purebred dogs to giving this horrendous rescue crisis airtime and educating people.
Instead of promoting breeders and increasing the demand for puppies they could have encouraged a pause to breeding. They could have recognised that healthy dogs are losing their lives and urged people to rescue instead.
It is so hard to see when the reality for all those in rescue is not being able to save the lives of dogs already in this world. And no recognition from those who run Crufts, The Kennel Club UK, that breeding and buying dogs is what's causing the problem.
Volunteer RNLI crews from Skegness, Bridlington, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpe along with Coastguard currently responding to a major incident in the North Sea. Remember that when politicians tell you not to donate to them😡
