The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history.

He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough.

.@GovPritzker has spent the last 72 hours laying out making his pitch for president in 2028. My strong recommendation to conservatives is to watch him closely.

1) He told @CBSNews that @ICEgov and @CBP agents in Illinois "are eventually going to lose their jobs and even their freedom" (direct quote), pointing to a database his administration is helping compile.

Yes, the sitting governor of a state is publicly threatening federal officers with prosecution for doing their jobs.

2) He immediately rebranded yesterday's Supreme Court ruling on Louisiana redistricting as "voter suppression that will silence Black and brown voters." The decision did no such thing. In fact, it explicitly outlaws the segregation of legislative districts based on race. But because this electorally threatens Democrats, whose coalition-building strategy depends on cynically exploiting racial grievances (as opposed to their record or policymaking ideas), his political aspirations rely on the style of inflammatory framing to which Democratic Party leaders have become accustomed.

I've spent my whole career watching Illinois governors interact with national media and I've never seen anything like this. It's something different. It's a man transparently building a brand on a foundation of factually rearranged stories, presented with the calm certainty of a man who has confidently learned that most reporters will not challenge him, provided he is taking aim at the right-of-center targets.

He will never be president. But he will cause enormous harm to his party and the country by trying. Worth watching.
