@Bratt_world I would challenge you to look at infant mortalities at this time in low income, high density communities , as well as trad. orphanages during this same time period. TB sanitariums were opened. The hardest hit- Montréal, Toronto, Winnipeg. Enlighten yourself re: Duplessis Orphans.
@Nofgivenatall@LauraISO411@Reil76 You make a statement based on feelings.
Someone asked to back it up using facts.
You tell us you don’t have “time”.
👍🤷🏼♀️
@Bratt_world@TeamPortia@Kronicsuperstar Violent crime against children has declined since the 1990s.
Awareness of child abuse, bullying, and exploitation is generally higher.
Background checks, child-protection policies, and mandatory reporting systems are more common. This includes phone tracking systems.
@Bratt_world@TeamPortia@Kronicsuperstar Do you get a bunch of talking points as part of your employment as a liberal shill, or do you actually just make up shit as you go along?
@Bratt_world Because the same ppl who say that want to restrict access to the internet to anyone under 18 “for their safety”, are the same ppl who think it’s ok for a 14 year old to take HRT to transition, change their name and their gender, without their parents knowledge.
@guyfelicella@myabradshaw78 That doesn’t account for the other 11 members of parliament who were involved in colluding with china.
Oh Well, Elbows Up! 🙄👍
If federalists want to make the case for Canada, their focus should be on fixing the problems that are causing people to consider leaving in the first place.
A healthy federation does not respond to discontent by dismissing it. "Good government" means taking concerns seriously, identifying where institutions have failed, and working to restore trust. Surely it is the responsibility of a national government to ensure every province feels represented, respected, and valued within the federation.
Ignoring grievances does not negate them. It only reinforces them.
